Subin showed the improvements in govarnam’s db query speeds through sqlite optimization.
There’s a mystery that in Apple M1 inside a ubuntu virtual machine it runs faster than even the M1 natively.
This speed improvement makes it practical to run in Indic keyboard with sub-10 ms suggestions.
A reverse transliteration feature has been added too.
The dictionary in Indic Keyboard right now is from 2014. Planning new dictionary

Preference screen for varnam
