# About the Submissions category

SMC has been publishing monthly activity reports for more than two years. As an extension to that project, we are trying to document community activities in monthly report.

- Why should people use this category? What is it for?  
Submissions to SMC monthly report

- How exactly is this different than the other categories we already have?  
This category is only to discuss and document community activities

- What should topics in this category generally contain?  
Anything from privacy, language computing, accessibility technologies, researches to free and open source softwares
